Welcome to Il Baluardo, a charming and exclusive apartment in the picturesque village of Manarola.

Il Baluardo is an exclusive retreat nestled within a typical tower house in the most prominent and scenic part of Manarola village. Dating back to the 11th century, this historic dwelling stands proudly, comprising four floors: the ground and first floors are dedicated to the enchanting Il Baluardo apartment and the other two to its twin counterpart, La Lampara, which can be rented separately still on cinqueterreriviera.

Il Baluardo spans two levels: on the ground floor, where the entrance resides, you'll find a welcoming living area complete with a dining table and two sofas (one of which converts into a single bed), alongside a fully equipped kitchen. A ceiling fan ensures comfort even during the warmer seasons.

Both the upper floor rooms offer magnificent sea views and the ground floor large open space opens on curious, tiny balcony right over the famous Belvedere of Manarola village.

The internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where a master bedroom with a ceiling fan and a twin bedroom with bunk beds await. The twin bedroom features a wall-mounted fan for added comfort. Throughout the apartment, we have the heating systems.

Notable Information: Il Baluardo can be rented together with its twin, La Lampara, accommodating up to 10 guests when combined. Situated on the cliff's edge, the building stands in the most prominent part of the village, inaccessible by car. As Manarola is entirely pedestrianized, reaching the property requires a walk, occasionally uphill, from both the train station and parking area.

Other things to keep in mind: Small dogs are welcome in this property with extra cost and acceptance of rules (as per the extra supplement item)
